# Tangle Master 3D vs Tangle Rope 3D

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tangle Master 3D at 385K against Tangle Rope 3D's 207. Tangle Master 3D also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.2). Tangle Rope 3D's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 16%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tangle Master 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tangle Rope 3D sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tangle Master 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tangle Master 3D has 385K ratings behind it against 207, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Tangle Master 3D's written reviews are positive against 25% of Tangle Rope 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tangle Master 3D ships an update weekly, Tangle Rope 3D every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
