# Notepad vs NotesApp

The clearest difference is ads: NotesApp at none against Notepad's shown. Notepad's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and NotesApp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively.
