# EasyStart vs Ediag

The clearest difference is rating: Ediag at 4.3 against EasyStart's 3.6. Ediag also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 46). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ediag holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ediag has 1.4K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of EasyStart's written reviews are positive against 30% of Ediag's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EasyStart ships an update every 10 months, Ediag every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
