# Firecracker Simulator vs Matches Craft

Firecracker Simulator and Matches Craft both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Firecracker Simulator's written reviews are positive against 49% of Matches Craft's. Firecracker Simulator also leads on ads (none vs shown). Matches Craft's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 39). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Firecracker Simulator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Matches Craft sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Matches Craft holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matches Craft has 1.1K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Firecracker Simulator's written reviews are positive against 49% of Matches Craft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Firecracker Simulator ships an update every 9 months, Matches Craft every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
