# placiibo vs SV Guide

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SV Guide at 83% against placiibo's 58%. SV Guide also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.1). placiibo's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 85). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. placiibo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SV Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

placiibo holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: placiibo has 1.1K ratings behind it against 85, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of placiibo's written reviews are positive against 83% of SV Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

placiibo ships an update every 9 days, SV Guide every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
