# Formation vs Exam Arena

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Exam Arena at 30% against Formation's 0%. Formation's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formation sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Exam Arena sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $8.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
