# Formation vs Stockedin

The clearest difference is ads: Formation at none against Stockedin's shown. Formation also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Stockedin's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formation sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stockedin sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Formation ships an update fortnightly, Stockedin every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
