# NAW Putter vs Disc

The clearest difference is rating: Disc at 4.4 against NAW Putter's 3.0. Disc also leads on review sentiment (43% vs 33%) and ratings volume (61 vs 12). NAW Putter's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NAW Putter sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.49 per year and Disc sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Disc holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disc has 61 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of NAW Putter's written reviews are positive against 43% of Disc's.

NAW Putter ships an update weekly, Disc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
