# Gurmit vs Raízs

The clearest difference is monetization model: Raízs at free against Gurmit's ad-supported. Gurmit's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gurmit ships an update fortnightly, Raízs weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
