# Prep vs Learn English

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prep at every 5 days against Learn English's every 2 weeks. Learn English's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prep sells 77 one-off in-app purchases and Learn English sells 41 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn English holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 123 and 139 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 86% and 86% positive.

Prep ships an update every 5 days, Learn English every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
