# Prep vs USSH

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: USSH at none against Prep's 77. USSH also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Prep's advantage is ratings volume (124 vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prep sells 77 one-off in-app purchases. USSH asks for nothing beyond the download.

USSH holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prep has 124 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Prep ships an update every 5 days, USSH every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
