# Prep vs FA Class

The clearest difference is ads: FA Class at none against Prep's shown. FA Class also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (123 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prep sells 77 one-off in-app purchases and FA Class sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FA Class holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prep has 123 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Prep's written reviews are positive against 100% of FA Class's.

Prep ships an update every 5 days, FA Class every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
