# Prep vs Grilla

The clearest difference is ads: Grilla at none against Prep's shown. Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prep sells 73 one-off in-app purchases and Grilla sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prep ships an update every 5 days, Grilla every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
