# txt.edit vs Ehabit

The clearest difference is price: Ehabit at Free against txt.edit's $3.99. Ehabit also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 83%). txt.edit's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On update cadence, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Ehabit is free to download; txt.edit costs $3.99 up front. Ehabit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. txt.edit asks for nothing beyond the download.

txt.edit holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: txt.edit has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of txt.edit's written reviews are positive against 92% of Ehabit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

txt.edit ships an update every 2 weeks, Ehabit every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
