# Couchers vs SideQuest

The clearest difference is rating: SideQuest at 5.0 against Couchers's 2.9. Couchers's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SideQuest sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Couchers asks for nothing beyond the download.

SideQuest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Couchers has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Couchers ships an update every 8 days, SideQuest every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
