# Affirmations & Quote Widget vs Widgets for LockScreen

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Widgets for LockScreen at 100% against Affirmations & Quote Widget's 55%. Widgets for LockScreen also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Affirmations & Quote Widget's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 2.5) and ratings volume (322 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Affirmations & Quote Widget sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Widgets for LockScreen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Affirmations & Quote Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Affirmations & Quote Widget has 322 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Affirmations & Quote Widget's written reviews are positive against 100% of Widgets for LockScreen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Affirmations & Quote Widget ships an update every 6 weeks, Widgets for LockScreen every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
