# Mini vs EQ

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mini at fortnightly against EQ's every 6 weeks. Mini also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mini sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EQ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mini ships an update fortnightly, EQ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
