# VEST EAP vs Torrent Cycle

The clearest difference is monetization model: VEST EAP at free against Torrent Cycle's free with in-app purchases. Torrent Cycle's advantage is ratings volume (315 vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for VEST EAP against 5.0 for Torrent Cycle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Torrent Cycle has 315 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

VEST EAP ships an update every 2 months, Torrent Cycle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
