# OHAPD vs OmniTAK

The clearest difference is rating: OHAPD at 5.0 against OmniTAK's 4.0. OHAPD also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). OmniTAK's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 47 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OHAPD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OmniTAK has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OHAPD ships an update every 47 months, OmniTAK every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
