# Textkiller vs We Text + Call + Message Now

The clearest difference is monetization model: Textkiller at free with in-app purchases against We Text + Call + Message Now's subscription. Textkiller also leads on review sentiment (37% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). We Text + Call + Message Now's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Textkiller sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and We Text + Call + Message Now sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

We Text + Call + Message Now holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Textkiller has 13K ratings behind it against 538, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Textkiller's written reviews are positive against 0% of We Text + Call + Message Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Textkiller ships an update every 2 weeks, We Text + Call + Message Now every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
