# Textkiller vs Remote Screen Viewer

The clearest difference is price: Textkiller at Free against Remote Screen Viewer's $2.99. Textkiller also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Remote Screen Viewer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Textkiller is free to download; Remote Screen Viewer costs $2.99 up front. Textkiller sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Remote Screen Viewer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote Screen Viewer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Textkiller has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Textkiller ships an update every 2 weeks, Remote Screen Viewer daily. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
