# VPN Hypernet vs TIPAS (VPN)

The clearest difference is ads: TIPAS (VPN) at none against VPN Hypernet's shown. TIPAS (VPN) also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). VPN Hypernet's advantage is ratings volume (376 vs 33). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Hypernet sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and TIPAS (VPN) sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for VPN Hypernet against 4.7 for TIPAS (VPN). That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Hypernet has 376 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of VPN Hypernet's written reviews are positive against 75% of TIPAS (VPN)'s.

VPN Hypernet ships an update every 3 months, TIPAS (VPN) every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
