# QuickFox vs 開心閱讀

The clearest difference is ads: QuickFox at none against 開心閱讀's shown. QuickFox also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (294 vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickFox sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and 開心閱讀 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuickFox holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickFox has 294 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QuickFox ships an update every 2 weeks, 開心閱讀 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
