# Twiq vs YappingApp

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: YappingApp at none against Twiq's 10. YappingApp also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (67% vs 55%). Twiq's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 4). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twiq sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. YappingApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Twiq holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twiq has 2.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Twiq's written reviews are positive against 67% of YappingApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Twiq ships an update weekly, YappingApp monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
