# SecondDate vs Pet

The clearest difference is ads: Pet at none against SecondDate's shown. Pet also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SecondDate ships an update every 8 months, Pet every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
