# Codieval vs Wordismo

The clearest difference is rating: Codieval at 5.0 against Wordismo's 4.7. Wordismo's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codieval sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Wordismo sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Codieval holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Codieval's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wordismo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Codieval ships an update every 9 days, Wordismo every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
