# Camo Camera vs Segment Anything

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Camo Camera at none against Segment Anything's 1. Camo Camera also leads on ratings volume (7.9K vs 9) and device support (4 vs 2). Segment Anything's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Segment Anything sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Camo Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Camo Camera against 4.6 for Segment Anything. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camo Camera has 7.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Camo Camera ships an update every 2 months, Segment Anything every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
