# Camo Camera vs IARVEL

The clearest difference is update cadence: IARVEL at weekly against Camo Camera's every 2 months. IARVEL also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs freemium). Camo Camera's advantage is ratings volume (7.5K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IARVEL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camo Camera has 7.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of Camo Camera's written reviews are positive against 100% of IARVEL's.

Camo Camera ships an update every 2 months, IARVEL weekly. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
