# BBS GPS vs GoPro Fluid

The clearest difference is rating: BBS GPS at 5.0 against GoPro Fluid's 4.6. BBS GPS also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). GoPro Fluid's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BBS GPS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoPro Fluid has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BBS GPS ships an update every 3 months, GoPro Fluid every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
