# Kilonotes vs Prodrafts

The clearest difference is ads: Prodrafts at none against Kilonotes's shown. Prodrafts also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Kilonotes's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kilonotes sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Prodrafts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prodrafts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5K and 3.9K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Kilonotes's written reviews are positive against 70% of Prodrafts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kilonotes ships an update every 2 weeks, Prodrafts every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
