# Smart Eye App vs VPN Security

Smart Eye App and VPN Security both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of Smart Eye App's written reviews are positive against 53% of VPN Security's. Smart Eye App also leads on ads (none vs shown). VPN Security's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 47) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Eye App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and VPN Security sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Smart Eye App against 4.4 for VPN Security. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Security has 1.2K ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Smart Eye App's written reviews are positive against 53% of VPN Security's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
