# ScreenView vs Depth Effect Wallpapers

The clearest difference is rating: Depth Effect Wallpapers at 4.7 against ScreenView's 4.0. Depth Effect Wallpapers also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (96 vs 31). ScreenView's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScreenView sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Depth Effect Wallpapers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Depth Effect Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 31 and 96 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ScreenView's written reviews are positive against 25% of Depth Effect Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScreenView ships an update every 6 weeks, Depth Effect Wallpapers every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
