# Codeprendo vs Direction

The clearest difference is monetization model: Codeprendo at free against Direction's freemium. Direction's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codeprendo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Direction sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Codeprendo against 5.0 for Direction. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively.

Codeprendo ships an update monthly, Direction weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
