# CO vs JR Smart

The clearest difference is ads: JR Smart at none against CO's shown. JR Smart also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 27%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). CO's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 13). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for CO against 4.5 for JR Smart. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CO has 1.2K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 27% of CO's written reviews are positive against 50% of JR Smart's.

CO ships an update fortnightly, JR Smart every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
