# SmoothSwing vs Golf Tracer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Golf Tracer at every 2 weeks against SmoothSwing's monthly. SmoothSwing's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmoothSwing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Golf Tracer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmoothSwing ships an update monthly, Golf Tracer every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
