# SmoothSwing vs Handy Stopwatch

SmoothSwing and Handy Stopwatch both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Handy Stopwatch's written reviews are positive against 50% of SmoothSwing's. Handy Stopwatch also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). SmoothSwing's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmoothSwing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Handy Stopwatch asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for SmoothSwing against 4.8 for Handy Stopwatch. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmoothSwing has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
