# SmoothSwing vs Range Reps

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Range Reps at 100% against SmoothSwing's 50%. SmoothSwing's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (12K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmoothSwing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Range Reps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmoothSwing holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmoothSwing has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of SmoothSwing's written reviews are positive against 100% of Range Reps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmoothSwing ships an update monthly, Range Reps every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
