# Clipboard vs Paste It

The clearest difference is rating: Clipboard at 4.5 against Paste It's 4.0. Clipboard also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 10). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clipboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Paste It sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clipboard holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clipboard has 1.9K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Clipboard ships an update every 3 weeks, Paste It every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
