# Clipboard vs C Keyboard

The clearest difference is rating: C Keyboard at 5.0 against Clipboard's 4.5. C Keyboard also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Clipboard's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 3) and review sentiment (86% vs 70%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clipboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and C Keyboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

C Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clipboard has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Clipboard's written reviews are positive against 70% of C Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clipboard ships an update every 3 weeks, C Keyboard every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
