# Clipboard vs TIPS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TIPS at none against Clipboard's 2. TIPS also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Clipboard's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clipboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. TIPS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clipboard ships an update every 3 weeks, TIPS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
