# OCS vs CamCOPS

The clearest difference is update cadence: CamCOPS at every 2 months against OCS's every 12 months. OCS's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OCS ships an update every 12 months, CamCOPS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
