# Day Counter Pro vs Whenora

The clearest difference is ads: Whenora at none against Day Counter Pro's shown. Whenora also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Day Counter Pro's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Counter Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Whenora sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whenora holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Day Counter Pro has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
