# Huge Digital Clock vs Clock Widget

Huge Digital Clock and Clock Widget both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 56% of Huge Digital Clock's written reviews are positive against 19% of Clock Widget's. Clock Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Huge Digital Clock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Clock Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Huge Digital Clock against 4.2 for Clock Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock Widget has 1.4K ratings behind it against 79, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Huge Digital Clock's written reviews are positive against 19% of Clock Widget's.

Huge Digital Clock ships an update every 6 weeks, Clock Widget daily. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
