# Auto vs Gotop

The clearest difference is rating: Auto at 5.0 against Gotop's 4.4. Auto also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). Gotop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (47 vs 1). On price and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gotop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Auto asks for nothing beyond the download.

Auto holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gotop has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Auto ships an update every 2 months, Gotop fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
