# VCall vs BuzzNow

The clearest difference is rating: BuzzNow at 4.7 against VCall's 4.1. BuzzNow also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 45 months). VCall's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 71%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VCall sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BuzzNow sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BuzzNow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 416 and 604 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of VCall's written reviews are positive against 71% of BuzzNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VCall ships an update every 45 months, BuzzNow every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
