# Study Sets vs BidNote

The clearest difference is rating: Study Sets at 5.0 against BidNote's 4.8. Study Sets also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 4). BidNote's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Sets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and BidNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Sets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Study Sets's written reviews are positive against 100% of BidNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Study Sets ships an update every 4 weeks, BidNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
