# Amenitiz vs Octochannel

The clearest difference is rating: Amenitiz at 4.2 against Octochannel's 1.7. Amenitiz also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (17 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amenitiz holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amenitiz has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Amenitiz's written reviews are positive against 22% of Octochannel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Amenitiz ships an update fortnightly, Octochannel every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
