# MedKrok vs Читай

The clearest difference is ads: MedKrok at none against Читай's shown. Читай's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MedKrok sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Читай sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MedKrok ships an update every 5 weeks, Читай every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
