# Rise vs Bash Baking

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bash Baking at none against Rise's 8. Bash Baking also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 90%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). Rise's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (336 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rise sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Bash Baking asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rise holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rise has 336 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Rise's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bash Baking's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
