# E vs SamePlay

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SamePlay at none against E's 14. SamePlay also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). E's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month. SamePlay asks for nothing beyond the download.

SamePlay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

E ships an update fortnightly, SamePlay weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
